Paula Friedrichsen is a published author, Christian speaker, and a wife and mother. She is the author of "The Man You Always Wanted is The One You Already Have" (Multnomah 2007).

This book was definitely born out of adversity! Almost fifteen years ago Paula became romantically (although not sexually) involved with the pastor of her church. This affair devastated the church and did great harm to her marriage. But God used that arduous time in Paula's life to reshape her thinking about marriage, womanhood, and femininity. She came out of the fire of sin and failure with a bold and encouraging message for married women of all ages.

The Man You Always Wanted is The One You Already Have was reviewed by the leading magazine for Christian women Today's Christian Woman in the January/February 2007 issue. Paula has had the opportunity to promote her book with book signings, television and radio interviews, and magazine articles.

Paula is a 2002 CLASS graduate and enjoys speaking at church conferences and women's retreats regionally and nationally. She resides in Northern California with her semi-retired husband Jeff, teenaged daughter Amy, adorable lapdog Sweet pea, and twenty pound cat Tiger.
