Monica Hernandez is an ordained Christian minister with the Evangelical Association in Toronto, Canada. She is also a graduate of Canada Christian College in Toronto, having earned her Bachelor of Theology, Master of Theological Studies and Doctor of Theology degrees there. As well, she holds a D-C.P.C. (Diplomate-Certified Psychotherapist and Counsellor) certificate in Christian Counselling.

She has founded New Vision Ministry of Mount Carmel in 1985 and has held evangelical meetings every Sunday since that time, till the end of 2002. Her focus is now on giving Bible-based seminars, workshops and conferences for improving life skills. She also teaches classes in Christian counselling for certification with the Evangelical Order of Certified Pastoral Counsellors.

She is an approved teacher for the Evangelical Training Association(the ETA), a non-degree granting Bible/Theology teaching institution in Wheaton, Illinois, U.S.A. since 1930. The ETA courses are taught through textbooks offered by the ETA and can be used for credits toward an ETA certificate in Evangelism.

Monica hosts the Bible-teaching radio broadcast, "The Revealing Word" on JOY 1250 AM in Oakville, Ontario, every Sunday morning at 8:30 since 1998 with excellent responses. These radio messages give hope, spiritual insights and practical biblical principles for our lives.

Monica has a passion for sharing the Word and her vision is to continue reaching people for the Lord through the written word, counselling, seminars, workshops, study courses, radio and an audio cassette ministry. She is also available for speaking engagements at Bible conferences, conventions, churches and women’s groups, locally and abroad.

She lives in Toronto, Ontario with her husband, Errol. They have three sons, two daughters and three granddaughters. Her hobbies are: reading, creative writing and fashion designing.
