Jimmy Cochran is a single guy living in a suburb of Atlanta, Georgia. He serves in his local church through the Music Ministry, the Single Adult ministry and enjoys working as an occasional chaperone and adult leader for the Student Ministry. He is an ordained deacon and has served in churches as Minister of Youth and Recreation before entering the secular workplace. Jimmy felt it was a calling to leave the full-time ministry in order to better understand what people face in their jobs and in the struggles of everyday living. This has helped equip him in his writings to encourage and support the average person in their practical walk with God. Jimmy especially enjoys writing to address the unique issues facing single adults and to offer them encouragement that God is always in control of their lives and families. He has written articles and devotionals for local church groups, their publications and he is a member of the Christian Writers Guild.
