Take one ordinary Yankee out of a big city, move her to rural Georgia, add several pets to keep her exercising, toss in a nearby housebound mother to keep her climbing steps laden like a pack mule, flummox her with flare-ups of exhausting fibromyalgia, give her a keyboard and Internet access, and you have a writer with a blog. I started Merci And Percy to share some of my stories published in newspapers and newsletters. My hope is that my stories might make you laugh or cry, but especially to encourage you to think - to think about the Bible and how it applies to every aspect of your life. I spent twenty years in a legalistic church and these stories are just a small part of my journey out of darkness into the Light. The first rule of writing is to write about something you know, so expect my pets to appear in some of my stories.
