My name is Ginnylynn. I live in North Central Texas in a suburb of Dallas called Allen. I'm so happy that you've come to visit and my desire is to encourage and uplift you with words given to me from the Lord. I pray that you will leave refreshed and renewed in His presence.
My Testimony:
I was raised in a Catholic home and went to Catholic school. I felt that God wasn't a personal God to me, so I became very rebellious by the age of 12. All my life, I had been insecure because of my inferiority complex which caused me to begin to experiment with sex and drugs at the age of 14. I so desperately wanted to be accepted by others.
I married at the age of 17, and divorced by the age of 20. About this same time, a young lady that sat next to my desk at work, began to share God's PERSONAL love with me. THe Holy Spirit made real to me the love of the Lord in an instant of time. Everything that I had been taught as a child then made sense to me. I became SO excited! I was almost obnoxious about my experience to everyone. I just had to tell everyone about what God had done for me. Once I was (spiritually) blind but now I could see! I knew, without a shadow of doubt, that God would never leave me and that He accepted me.
I quit cursing and drinking and He gave me a peace beyond measure. I met my current husband during this time frame. I experienced God's guidance and love in such a greater measure. He has remained so faithful to me during the difficult times. I came to realize that He walks with me and many times carries me during those times.
I believe that His sacrifice on the cross at Calvary 2000 years ago paid the price of my sin and failures so that I am cleansed to be righteous before my Father in heaven. Jesus is my mediator to my Heavenly Father. I have been adopted into the family of God. He has given me a new, Heavenly name. I'm no longer an outcast.
It's not my works of righteousness that makes me acceptable to God but only through the death of Jesus Christ am I made whole and complete by accepting that by faith. Now after 26 years in His service, I know that only a personal relationship with the Lord is vital and necessary.Religion is man-made. Christianity is a personal relationship with the God of the universe. Nothing in this world can compare to that! I believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God
