Francine P. Biere was born and raised in what used to be the small town of Laurel, Maryland. Life became too fast and too crowded and she moved to Sierra Vista, Arizona, where she and her husband, Chuck, reside.
She's been writing all her life and was an award winning journalist, editor, and photojournalist for a worldwide feature newspaper. After recovering from a stroke, she transitioned into freelance journalism and has had articles and photographs published in regional newspapers and Christian magazines in southeastern Arizona and Europe. She's also written travel columns and feature articles for secular publications. She's a nationally recognized speechwriter, an award winning public speaker, one of Arizona's Outstanding Young Women of America, and recipient of a national U.S.Bicentennial Leadership Award.
Francine's writing ministry is all about exposing the darkness and revealing the light of God's word. She believes many are blinded to the Truth of God's precious gift of love and eternal life and no one tells them.
Her first novel, "Death in the Desert," was recently released by Treble Heart Books. In this contemporary suspense set in Cochise County, Arizona, journalist Meagan Wagner thought she could find safety after September 11th in her beloved southwest. She was wrong.
Writing is and always has been her heart's desire. Francine's passion is to write about social issues from the heart and spirit and plans a series of novels set in the southwest. She's also created "Words from the Heart," (

It is her deepest desire and heart-felt prayer that God might speak to others – whether it's through her inspirational writing, photographs, or novels.
