Victoria Gaines, a nurse, freelance writer, and former Stephen Minister, was born and raised in Georgia, making Atlanta her home for nearly 27 years now. Her writing desires seem best expressed with a quote from Philip Yancey: "I became a writer because I saw that writing could penetrate into the crevices, bringing spiritual oxygen to people trapped in airtight boxes." Her humble musings began as the family newsletter and personal writing ministry, which grew over the years into devotional writing for publication.
