"Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world."
1 John 4:4
Greater is He that is in me — such a precious thing to know. God is great and His power lives in us. The Spirit that gives me life comes from God’s own Son and is greater than anything in this World. The above verse means that you do not have to deal with the power of evil. The Spirit of God in you will deal victoriously with the forces of evil.
You are a vessel and God wants to pour out His Spirit upon you, filling you to overflowing with the greatness of His love. The Spirit of God will take control of your mind, body, mouth, entire being if you will allow it.
Humble yourself before the Lord so that He can operate in you by His Holy Spirit. There is power in the name of Jesus. God cares so much for us that He gives us the authority to use this name of Jesus. God has exalted Him and given Him a name that is above every name. And through that name we can overcome all things — for greater is He that is us, than he that is in the world, and this is power to our lives.
It takes a release on our part to allow the miracles of God to flourish in our lives. You can have healing, prosperity, success, and wondrous miracles every moment of your life if you stand faithful in God's divine power. A miracle does not have to be a new hand, a blind eye restored, or some other supernatural thing. It can be a simple smile, a hand shake, a softly spoken, "Good morning, how are you?"
We so often get lost in our religiosity doing all these things that we feel are "the Christian" thing to do that we forget to spend time with God. How much time do you spend with God? Most Christians do not give more than 20 to 30 minutes a day to God (not counting church). How much time do you spend watching TV? How much time do you spend reading a novel? How much time do you spend just sitting around doing nothing? I’m sure that time goes way beyond 20 or 30 minutes. Let God become Number ONE in your life! Start taking some of your TV time or book reading time and give it to God. Many times we miss out on the blessings God wants to give us because we are so involved with "church" things or "worldly" thing
"If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed."
John 8:36.
This is your Day of Independence. Be free and rejoice in the gift that God has given to you. Celebrate Jesus in all that you do and say - for He has given all that He had so you could share in His inheritance with Him. Go with God for He has given unto you the greater one and with Him you cannot fail — for God is Power in your life!
"Ye are of God, little children and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world."
1 John 4:4.
