Romans 5

Sensing God causes us to sense the sin around us! The closer we get to God the more we should sense the sin around us!
I wrote those sentences, paused for a moment, and said, "Well this article is complete!"
And when you stop and look at those sentences, fully absorbing them and contemplating on them you will see what I mean. The closer you get to God the more you fall in line with His Word. And the more in line with His Word, the more in tune you are to the sin around you.
If you are not sensing the sin around you increasingly each day then chances are you are not very close to God! I debated writing this article for fear that many would feel I was stepping on toes or portraying self as "holier than thou". My friends, this is not what I am doing! What I am doing is simply stating a God given fact. The closer we get to God the more we should sense the sin around us! The more we sense the sin around us the closer we should get to God!
In Romans 5:20-21 we read that God’s law came about so all people would be able to see just how sinful they were. As people sin more and more, the magnificent kindness of God becomes more abundant. So, as sin began to rule the people bringing death to them, God’s wonderful everlasting kindness manifested itself through Jesus Christ giving us right standing with God and more of an awareness of our sins.
Romans 5:19 - 21
For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. Moreover the law entered, that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: that as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.
Fifteen words speaking volumes to anyone willing to listen. "The closer we get to God the more we should sense the sin around us!"
