Phew!!

Bet you all wonder where have I been!

Actually right here!

But for the last week and a half I have been moving files from my old computer, of six years to my laptop!!

The old one was working on and off and it has been a race against time to get photos, documents on CD’s to move them before the old system went belly-up on me.

Which gives me today’s thought and the beginning of posting regularly again.

It is really kind of nice to be sitting here at Starbucks and being able to post and not to have to make a dash to the house to post everything. The Lord has provided me with some awesome tools to work with.

The laptop, wireless mouse and keyboard, Palm Life Drive, Digital Recorder and also a digital camera, so over the next few weeks, you should begin to see some changes at Hill Country Thoughts!

I have been remembering a former post that I wrote before moving to Georgia about clutter and again, that is something that the Lord is doing at this time in my life, is removing the clutter, those things that keep me from hearing the Lord, so I can hear that still small voice.

It is so important to have a clearity of heart, of purpose, of knowing that we are intune with the Lord and that we are learning to hear His heartbeat.

One of the things that I have learned over the last couple of years, is how the Lord will use others to confirm things to us that He has been speaking to our heart, to our spirit. Often times it is people who have no clue as to what is going on in our life and yet they will share a thought, a bit of wisdom and it will be exactly what the Lord wants us to hear.

It is important to maintain that daily walk, that daily time with our Father, of cultivating a relationship with Him, hearing His voice, allowing Him, to work in our lives, even sitting things a side for a bit while the molding and shaping process takes place.

It is so important to remove any clutter in our lives, our hearts that keep us from moving forward in the things of the Lord or to answer the call on our lives.

I look back now over the events since February 2003 and see how much the Father has done, even though at the time I didn’t understand all the reasons why or the how comes.

The thing that I do know, that I am no longer the person I used to be but rather I am becoming the man God wants me to be.

Is that not awesome, that the Father wants us to become all we can be in Him.

Indeed, His plans are good plans!
