Let’s Resolve to turn to the Bible!

We are fast approaching the beginning of a new year, 2005 and I imagine that for many there will be the long list of resolutions. Most of the resolutions I'm sure will be made in good faith also. But as history proves most will also fade away with the passing days, weeks, and months. So, this year instead of resolving to do all those things we never do anyway or only partially do - let's resolve to turn to the Bible for all our needs.

When in sorrow, turn to John 14.
If you want to be fruitful, turn to John 15.
When you worry, turn to Matthew 6:19-34.
When you need security, turn to Psalm 121:3.
When you are in danger, turn to Psalm 91.
When God seems far away, turn to Psalm 139.
When your faith needs a boost, turn to Hebrews 11.
When lonely turn to Psalm 23.
When fearful turn to Psalm 34:7.
When bitter and critical, turn to 1st Corinthians 13.
For happiness, turn to Colossians 3:12-17.
For understanding, turn to 2nd Corinthians 5:15-19.
When down and out, turn to Romans 8:31.
When you want peace and rest, turn to Matthew 11:25-30.
For confidence, turn to Romans 8:1-30, Mark 8:35 & Psalm 145:18.
When traveling, turn to Psalm 121.
When your prayers become self-centered, turn to Psalm 67.
When you want courage, turn to Joshua 1.
To get along with others, turn to Romans 12.
If you are depressed, turn to Psalm 27.
When discouraged and unsure, turn to Philippians 4
For finances turn, to Malachi 3 and Luke 6.

The Word of God will never fail you!
