How's Your Spiritual Condition?

If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not. But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him. - John 10:37-38
What do people believe -- even those who claim to have accepted Christ? While 88% in a recent Barna poll believe Jesus Christ was a real person, 42% (including about 25% of "born again" Christians) believe, while on earth, Jesus sinned just like other people. Sixty-one percent believe the devil is just a symbol of evil, not a living being. And 54% think if people are good enough, they will earn a place in Heaven regardless of their religious beliefs.
So what do you believe? -- that Jesus was just an ordinary man, born to sin? Do you believe Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of the Living God? Do you believe you can enter Heaven on the strength of good works alone?
Is your personal doctrine solidly based in Scripture, or have you allowed satan to sneak New Age baloney into your beliefs while you were otherwise preoccupied with worldly matters. God's condition for salvation is crystal clear. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16) (My emphasis.)
Christ will return to earth, just as sure as eating too many little green apples will give you a bellyache. "Ye men of Galilee," the angel said just after Christ's ascension, "why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven." (Acts 1:11) When He does return, He will gather "his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other." (Matthew 24:31b)
How is your spiritual condition these days? Have you unconditionally accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior? Have you accepted God's free gift of salvation? Are you ready to go with Jesus should He appear in the next microsecond, or will you be left behind? If you have any doubts whatsoever about your salvation and spiritual readiness to meet God, don't you think you should do something about it right now?
The link in the box below will give you all the information you need to obtain salvation and everlasting life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
