Forget?

Why is it every time we think we have forgotten something or forgiving it, it springs up in our minds, our thoughts, festering as it where, to the point of anger?
That is part of what this day was about!
I began to remember old wounds, things given to the Lord, knowing that He has already forgotten them, yet here I am, digging up old bones, remembering what I have tried to forget.
As I began to focus on them, I lost focus!
Instead of focusing on the Lord and that which He has done in my life, I wallowed in a woe is me attitude, of who cares and what does it matter any way attitude!
I am sure none of you have done that at all.
It is during times like this that we need to remember what the Lord has done. The healing of the wounds, pains and hurts and remember the love and grace of the Lord Jesus Christ!
To remember that the source of my strength, our strength is in the Lord. That we rely on the life-changing power of the Lord Jesus Christ to heal our wounded hearts, our wounded spirits and He will truly help us to forgive and forget.
Over time those things we have laid at the altar, that we have buried in Christ, will remain there, to be remembered no more!
Healing comes, it may seem slow, but it indeed comes.
The tears, the pains, the wounds will be wiped away and remembered no more!
Till Later,
Paul
