Fathers Love

Over the last couple of months it seems like the Father has been changing my prayer life.
It has become more relational, more personal, a lot realer! And today as I write this, I began to understand why and it was so simple, it just overwhelmed me!
It is as if the Father spoke to me and said “Son, what are you doing, who are you talking too?” and my response was “You, Father” and I heard in my heart “Then son, talk to me, as you would talk to a Father, speak with your heart, without fear, I am not a far off. I am with you each day. I am with my children and I take delight in fellowshipping with them.”
Post 2003, as I went through the events in my life, I have been keeping a prayer journal, writing letters to the Father, so that the first words written each day, would be to Him.
Over the last couple of weeks, I began closing my journal entries, with “I love you Father, love your son, Paul” and as I began to do that, it began changing my heart, my attitude, to realize He is my Father, that we are His children and He simply loves it, when we come to Him with simplicity of faith.
A child like heart, that simply says “I love you Father” and you know what happens when you do that? He embraces us, lets us know, that in the midst of life, on this journey, He walks with us, talks to us through His word, by His spirit and those that He brings into our lives, offline and online too!
Yes, we serve an awesome God, the creator of heaven and earth, and when we were born again, we were adopted, chosen by Him and He speaks to us, “It is all right my son, my daughter, Father is here and I love you” and we can say Father, “We love you too.”
