Daily Will I Pray!

“Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.” Psalm 55:17

Have you ever paid attention to how you react to things in your life? A crisis comes up in the middle of the night and you get up and pace the floor, call your closest friend or parents, get in the car and drive, cry, yell, bake things, and then finally you pray!

What do you do when something wonderful happens in your life? You shout for joy, you share your wonderful news with family and friends. You celebrate by going out to eat or pampering your self in some other way. And maybe if you think about it you pray a prayer of thanksgiving to God!

Does it seem like your cares and woes out weigh your joys? If you answered yes then maybe it’s because you do not pray morning, noon, and evening. Prayer is not always asking for something prayer is also thanking God and just talking with God. Prayer is spending time with God to listen to what He has to say to you not what you always have to say to Him!

Prayer daily will diminish your cares and woes.

Father, help us to realize that we must pray through out our day and night first in the morning, then through the day, then last at night, and also thanking You for all you give us. Help us also to realize that anything we receive job promotion, new car, bargain at the store, favor on a test, etc. all happens because of You and a prayer of thanksgiving is due You. Help us learn to pray at all times good and bad in Jesus name amen.
